I decided to use the same post for each outlet simply because you can have the same content on multiple platforms, but they can't all say the same thing. Each social media platform is different, which means different ways to connect with your audience and different ways to say the same message.

Normally, I would include a bunch of hashtags, but since this was done for a project where we had to make up a book and an author, I didn't want to get followers and confuse people about a book that doesn't actually exist. Much like Instagram, Twitter wants you to keep your post short and to the point. Most of Twitter doesn't require links or images, but they definitely don't hurt. Twitter is a dialogue, so responding to people is particularly important. Retweeting things from peers and other industry people can help build your audience and your brand. |
